Advanced Level Linux Professional (LPIC-2)

New LPIC 2 Objectives Effective 1st April 2009

To obtain Advanced Level Linux Professional (also known as LPIC-2) two courses and exams need to be completed: LPI201 and LPI202.

LPI 201 exam tests basic capabilities in these areas:
Linux Kernel, System Startup, Filesystems, Hardware, System Maintenance, System Customization and Automation, Troubleshooting.

LPI 202 exam tests basic capabilities in these areas:
Networking, Mail & News, DNS, Web Services, Network Client Management, System Security, Network Troubleshooting.

Combined the LPI 201 and LPI 202 Certification is one of the accepted prerequisites for the HP Accredited System Engineer (ASE) on HP BladeSystem and HP ProLiant ML/DL servers.
